About Dancin' Mouse
Expert Audio Design by W. Scott Snyder
Dancin' Mouse Production, expert audio design run by sound design veteran W. Scott Snyder.
Scott Snyder started his audio career where many folks do - in his basement with a guitar and a tape recorder. From these humble beginnings, he became a Broadcast Journalist for the US Army, doing everything from Program Management of a radio station in Monterey, to drive time FM Radio on-air personality, to television and radio spot producer, and station graphic artist in charge of station imagery for AFKN (American Forces Korea Network).
After leaving the US Army, Scott earned his BA in Theatre from the University of California, Riverside, and from there went on to earn a Master of Fine Arts in Sound Design from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
His video game career started at Accolade, in San Jose, California - where he honed his knowledge on such titles as Slave Zero and Test Drive Off-Road.
He has spent time not only in the game industry as a content creator and audio director, but also has spent time in technology management positions at Microsoft and Electronic Arts. But you can read all about that in the resume.
Scott started Dancin' Mouse as a way to branch out and serve a wider audience than the corporate audio career has allowed him to do in the past. No job is too small - even small projects deserve great audio design and implementation. No job is too large either, as large projects require more management of resources to complete, and Snyder has the experience to bring any project to completion.
